One Week (7 Days) Snowboard Course

One Week Snowboard Basic Courses are based here and are an intensive great value way to get your Level 1 Certification, improve your skills and have a lot of fun! Start when and where you want, it does not matter what level you are, or what you want to learn just talk it through with your instructor and off you go.

Day 1: Arrive to Lahoul valley ski and Snowboard School. Evening we'll run you through the program outline including goals and training objectives. Dinner.

Day 2: Morning Tea and then breakfast later meet key Ski & Snow Board School representatives and trainers and also collect your Snowboard and Shoes. Today we'll also hold gear information sessions and there'll be an opportunity to select the snowboard colors and shoes. Later move to Ski Slopes Barbog and will be a full half day on the snow including a short lesson to stand and balance with snowboard and a chance to get your legs back into action. Back to Ski home and Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3 to 6: Your first training days will be focused around developing your personal Snowboard skills. You'll learn about Stance and Balance and get an introduction to the Core Competencies. Training will cover level 1-3 teaching progressions. On Day 4 and 5 You will learn about rotation, edging and cover Core Competencies in more detail. One Indoor sessions will include 'Leadership Training' and the 'Forces in Snowboarding'. Video Analysis will be a chance to identify areas for personal improvement. By the end of this training block you have an understanding of the fundamental skills and the level 1 course standards. On Six days off there'll be an opportunity to practice and free style Snowboarding at Barbog Skiing Slopes. Breakfast / Lunch and Dinner will be at Skand Snowboard ski home.

Day 7: After Breakfast- Check out onwards Journey.
