Bhabha Pass trek

Kuari pass North Face trek is an amongst the best in the Garhwal Himalaya. The trail was first charted by Lord Curzon in 1905, and ever since then, it has been known as the Curzon Trail. It takes you through lush green meadows, Virgin and lay back villages.

The arms-length view of ranges like the Mt. Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dhonagiri and Hathi and Ghori Parvat, is the reward that awaits the trekker a stop this pass. The maximum height reached during the course of trekking is 4200mtrs(The ridge connecting Kuari pass)

Day 01

Shimla - Kafnu Drive (208 km / 7-8 Hours)

Today is the first day of your Bhaba pass. the trek will start from Shimla. Today's destination is Kafnu which is a happening hamlet in Bhaba valley. O/N stay at Kafnu guest house/hotel.

Day 02

Kafnu – Mulling trekking (3,100m)

This is the second day of the trip and first day of actual Bhaba pass trekking. The trail is moderate. the route goes via Himalayan ups and downs, beautiful apple orchards and finally reaches to Mulling meadows. O/N stay in Tents amidst the pristine Himalayan beauty of Bhaba valley

Day 03

Mulling - Kara trekking (3,550m)

Today's trail will criss cross with several narrow yet full forced high Himalayan streams. The valley around you should be basking into natural beauty. You will obviously meet local Gaddi shepherds with their grazing herds as Kara meadow is a famous high altitude grazing meadow. You will experience the stunning beauty of towering peaks of Kinnaur and Spiti valley on this third day of your Bhaba pass trek. O/N stay in tents.

Day 04

Kara - Phustirang trekking (4,000m)

You are almost midway to your trek to Bhaba pass today and will reach Phustirang. Phustirang is endowed with breathtaking natural beauty. First proper sighting of Hansbeshan peak will give you a goosebump. O/N stay in tents at Phustirang.

Day 05

Phustirang - Bhabha Pass (4,850m) - Baldar trekking (3,900m)

Today you actually complete your Bhaba pass trekking and early morning you start to trek uphill to reach Bhaba pass. Mostly the trail will be covered up by snow. Enjoy a 360-degree grandeur view of surrounding. You can easily see Pin pass a ranges surrounding Pin valley.
Start your return trek after some time. Descend to Baldar in Spiti side. Enjoy the unique landscape of Spiti valley. O/N stay at Baldar.

Day 06

Baldar - Mudh trekking and then drive from Mudh to Kaza (3,800m)

Your Bhaba pass trek may gradually tend to an end but the landscape will never stop to amaze you. After a small trek reach to Mudh which is notoriously famous for its breathtaking beauty and unique purple hued landscape in Spiti valley. Drive to Kaza, the district headquarter of Spiti valley. O/N stay at guest house/hotel at Kaza.

Day 07

Drive from Kaza to Kunzum La (80km/2 Hours) and then Kunzum La - Chandratal trekking (4,270m)

Start your journey from Kaza and reach Kunzum la via a 3 hours drive and then from Kunzum trek to Chandratal. Experience the maddening beauty of the turquoise blue water of the world famous Chandratal or moon lake. O/N stay in camps beside the Chandratal. Camping at Chandratal is a life changing experience and is an add on to your Bhaba pass trek.

Day 08

Chandratal – Manali drive (6-7 Hours Drive)

Today you drive from Chandratal to Manali for approx. 6-7 hours. Once you reach Manali, the Bhaba pass trek ends.
